Not a garden of imported things. It collects what actually grows on the Ernici mountains, including species that were down to their last stands in the wild before someone went and got them.

How the day goes

  1. Booked in advance, and someone from the association walks it with you.
  2. The beds climb the way the mountain does, from valley plants up to what survives on bare rock.
  3. You come out able to recognise them again on the paths outside, which is the whole idea.

Botanical and quiet: if plants are not what you came for, the karst museum in the town hall covers the caves instead.
