What this site is, what it is not, and what you can expect from it. It is short because the arrangement is simple: we publish, you book with somebody else.
visitmore is not a travel agency and not a tour operator. We do not sell, organise or resell travel services, we do not put packages together, and we never collect payment. Every booking is concluded on the operator's own site, at the operator's own price, and your contract is with them.
What we do is publish: what a day is like, what it asks of you, what it costs where the operator publishes a price, and how to reach the people who run it.
Because the contract is with the operator, cancellations, refunds, delays, changes of weather and anything that happens on the day are theirs to resolve. We are not a party to it and have no power over it. If an operator has treated you badly, tell us anyway — we will look at whether they belong on this site.
Everything we publish carries the date we checked it, and we check on the operator's own page. Between that date and today a price can move, a season can close and a phone number can change. Where a figure is too old to stand behind, we say so instead of showing it. Treat what you read here as a good reason to go and look, not as a quotation.
Some links pay us a commission if you book through them. They are marked as affiliate links next to the link itself, and the price you pay is the supplier's own price — never more because you came through us. Our ranking never takes commission into account, and the formula is published.
Many of these days are physical, and some carry real risk: moving water, height, horses, enclosed spaces underground. Every activity page states the risk in the operator's own words, the physical requirements where they publish them, and a reminder to check that your travel insurance covers what you are about to do — most policies exclude hazardous activities. Read that part before you book, not after.
The text, the ranking and the code of this site are ours. Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences: every one of them is listed with its author and licence on the credits page. Operators' names, prices and opening times belong to them and are quoted as facts, with the date we read them.
If you are an operator and something we published about you is wrong, write to [email protected] and we will correct it. If you would rather our crawler left you alone, two lines in your robots.txt are enough.
Read it, share it, quote it. Do not scrape it wholesale to rebuild it elsewhere, and do not present our checks as your own. Nothing here is a personalised recommendation, and nothing here is financial, medical or legal advice.
