How the day goes

  1. Meet on the riverbank, life jacket and paddle, a briefing on how the current works here.
  2. Downstream through the historic centre, with the embankment walls rising on both sides.
  3. Around Tiber Island and out the other side, where the city opens up again.
  4. Out of the boat and back on the street, still in Rome, with the rest of the day free.

It is a river in a city, not white water — anyone after a thrill should look at the Aniene instead.
