The operator calls it a go-kart under a wing. It rolls off a grass field near Nettuno, climbs without anyone having to run, and the sea is a short hop away.

How the day goes

  1. Briefing at the field, then strapped into the cart behind the pilot.
  2. The wing lifts overhead and the wheels leave the grass on their own.
  3. Out over the countryside, and on to the shore when the weather allows.
  4. Debriefing on the ground, and a certificate for the first flight.

Nothing here asks you to run or hold on, and the operator carries passengers with disabilities; what it does ask is sitting in the open with an engine behind you.
