Nero built his villa on the water at Anzio and the sea has taken most of it back; the short trips go out past what is left. The long ones keep going, to Ponza and Palmarola or down the coast to Sperlonga.

How the day goes

  2. Along the coast past Torre Astura and the Grotte di Nerone.
  3. On the long days the boat crosses to the islands and comes back with the light.
