Sovana

The soil between Sovana and Pitigliano is volcanic, and the old roads through it are sunk between walls of tufa. Carla Benini's vines grow on that ground and the cellar is dug straight into it.

  2. Down into the underground cellar, cut into the rock the vines stand on.
  3. The wines and the oil at the end, with a short seminar if you want the longer version.
