On the trailAquino sat on the Via Latina and gave Thomas Aquinas his name. The piece the museum is built around is a sarcophagus cut with racing chariots, still going flat out after all the centuries it spent underground.
The walk outside comes with the ticket, so this is a small town seen on foot rather than a museum you slip in and out of.
