Montasola

Montasola is a small hill town in the Monti Sabini with lavender growing below it. The workshop is a table of cotton, linen and hemp, a heap of dried flowers, and needles.

How the day goes

  1. Natural fabrics on the table and lavender beside them, cut to fill them with.
  2. Cut, fill, stitch: fiddly work, and the smell of it stays on your hands.
  3. In summer, when the fields are in flower, you can go down and stand in them.
