Gorga

A village high in the Lepini keeps a planetarium and a serious telescope, and the people who run them are volunteers who will answer anything you think to ask.

How the day goes

  1. Book the evening first: there is no fixed opening, it is agreed on the phone.
  2. Inside the dome, the constellations of that particular night, projected overhead.
  3. Then outside to the telescope, and whatever the sky is showing.
  4. Dress in layers, because it is colder up there than down on the plain.

A clear sky decides how much the telescope gives you, so book it against a good forecast.
