Frascati On the trail

One ticket for four sites: museum, villa, ruins and wine museum

Frascati

A single ticket opens the Museo Tuscolano in Frascati, Villa Mondragone, the ruins of Tusculum on the ridge and the wine museum at Monte Porzio, and you use it whenever you like.

How the day goes

  1. Start at the Scuderie Aldobrandini in the middle of Frascati.
  2. Villa Mondragone is the largest of the Tuscolan villas and looks straight at Rome.
  3. Tusculum is up on the ridge: open grass, Roman stone, the whole plain below.
  4. The wine museum at Monte Porzio Catone closes the set.

Each site keeps its own opening times, so the ticket rewards a flexible afternoon and a car more than a tight schedule.
