The park sells its waterfall several ways: standing under it on the Balcone, walking the trails for the wood and the wildlife, following a character called Gnefro if you have children, or going in at night by torchlight.

How the day goes

  1. Pick the visit before you travel: each one takes a different part of the gorge.
  2. The Balcone route puts you in the tunnel, under the water, and you come out wet.
  3. The trail visit is slower, for the history, the plants and the birds.
  4. The night walk goes in with torches, beside the rapids.

The children's visit and the night walk run on their own days, so this is one to arrange ahead rather than at the ticket window.
