Two protected places in one ride: the pine forest on the Feniglia sandbar, and the Burano lagoon at the far end of the beach, where the WWF keeps a bird oasis.

How the day goes

  1. Ride the Feniglia pines on the flat, sea on one side, lagoon on the other.
  2. Down the coast to the Burano oasis and the water birds standing on it.
  3. Back along the same sandbar with the light coming off the lagoon.
