Anguillara Sabazia

Anguillara sits on a spit of rock above Lake Bracciano, and the tracks out of it run round the water and up into the Sabatini woods. You take a mountain bike from the co-operative in the old town.

How the day goes

  1. Collect the bike up in the old town, above the water.
  2. Down to the shore and round the lake on dirt, the surface changing under you.
  3. Back up the hill into Anguillara for something cold.
