On the waterThe Circeo promontory drops straight into the sea at the far end of the Pontine coast, and its base is full of caves. You go along it in a small boat, close enough in to see inside them.
This is a boat and a view, not a swim — if you want to be in the water yourself, the Gaeta trip goes out with snorkel kit on board.
