How the day goes

  1. Meet at the Rieti field, into the cockpit, briefing on the ground first.
  2. Off the runway, and then the only sound left is the air going past.
  3. Along the Terminillo ridges, or turning in thermals above the Valle Santa.

Circling in a thermal is a long series of turns and some stomachs mind that; the club's powered trial flight goes straight instead.
