Privacy

The short version: this site sets no cookies, has no accounts, and cannot tell who you are. When you click through to an operator we count that click, and this page explains exactly what that count contains.

Who publishes this

What we never do

What we do count, and why

Only one thing: a click on a link out to an operator, a car hire company or a driver service. When it happens we record, through Cloudflare Analytics Engine:

That last one deserves its own paragraph, because it is the only thing we hold that comes from you. It is a SHA-256 of your IP address, your browser's user-agent and today's date, cut down to eight bytes. It cannot be turned back into any of those things, it changes at midnight, and it is never put next to a name, an email or an order. It exists so that twenty clicks from one afternoon are not counted as twenty people, and for nothing else.

Why we do it at all. It is the only number we can take to an operator who has no affiliate programme, and that is twenty out of twenty of them: «we sent you two hundred visits last month» is how that conversation starts. The legal basis is legitimate interest under article 6(1)(f) GDPR: measuring the traffic this site sends to third parties, with the least data that makes it possible and no profiling.

Who else touches the data

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and acts as our data processor. It processes the technical server logs: IP address, user-agent, the page requested, the date and time on a global network with nodes inside the European Union. Cloudflare is a US company, participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and its terms include the standard contractual clauses.

Links to operators, to car hire and to driver services take you off this site. From that moment their policy applies and not ours: they can set their own cookies and recognise who arrives. Our referrer policy is strict-origin-when-cross-origin, so the supplier is told that you came from visitmore.it and not which page you were reading.

No outbound link carries your name, your email, your phone number or anything else about you — only the affiliate identifier. That is a rule of this project, and a gate in the build checks it on every run.

The search box

What you type is sent to our server to build the results page, and is not stored.

How long anything is kept

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, a restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. In practice there is very little here to ask about — we hold no name, no email and no account — but write to [email protected] and we will answer.

You can also complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Children

This site is not aimed at children and never asks anyone's age.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the foot of it changes with it. We do not keep a mailing list, so there is nobody to notify — which is itself the point.

Links marked affiliate pay us a commission — you pay the operator's own price and we never take your money. How we rank
