Pomezia

The track at Pomezia climbs to an upper floor and comes back down, so the layout has gradient in it as well as corners. The karts run on batteries, and you hear the tyres instead of an engine.

How the day goes

  1. Helmet and briefing at the desk, then out onto the lower level.
  2. Ramps, hairpins and the climb to the floor above, lap after lap.
  3. Your times come off the telemetry when you pull back in.

It runs whatever the sky is doing, but a kart still throws you about: the seat is hard and the corners are not gentle.
